Every Monday, Tuesday,Thursday and Friday between 0930 and 1600, I teach a wide variety of artistic skills, with help from a fantastic team.These classes are specifically for adults with learning difficulties, special needs and mental health issues. I am a fully qualified and registered art teacher/including SEN.As an artist I am passionate about art and eager to learn new techniques all the time with the aim to experiment in my art work and to share what I learn with others. Techniques include any drawing and painting, textiles such as batik, felt making, textile design, sewing, pottery and much more. We offer Asdan courses but I find integrated learning and creativity far more important. We always work towards the individual goal of each student and we have a lot of fun! Sometimes we have additional activities such as meals out, cinema, Harry potter studio, Pantomime etc. There is always laughter in the aArtvark room and the sociable part is extremely important . These classes are more structured and only run 30 weeks per year.I make the classes as varied as possible.
