L'Arche Kent Activities
‘L’Arche Kent Activities programme reflects the Vision of L’Arche to show that everyone belongs.
L’Arche Kent Activities provides a range of meaningful and enjoyable activities for people with learning disabilities and autistic people within Canterbury and the local area.
Currently, L’Arche Kent offers morning and afternoon sessions on two sites in central Canterbury with small group sizes:
The Glebe – horticultural-related activities e.g. potting, planting, weeding, vegetable-growing, garden maintenance, including some related indoor art/craft activities. Small-scale, simple facilities – potting shed, glasshouses.
St Radigund’s crafts – various artisan art/craft activities e.g. jewellery-making, card-making, candle-making.
Within both these activities, there is a possibility of being involved in sales of products.
We also run a music/singing session, art group, book club at various locations around Canterbury – further details on request.
Costs depend on the level of support required.’
