Medication dispenser
Medication dispensers can be used to automatically provide access to medication over a 28 day period, providing audible and visual alerts to the user each time medication should be taken.
If the person taking the medication fails to access the medication, an alert is raised to the monitoring centre or carer so that action can be taken to ensure that the medication routine is maintained.
How can it be used?
- To support a user to understand if they have taken a certain round of medication
- To inform a loved one/ carer that medication has or hasn’t been taken
- Provide peace of mind that the user is taking the correct medication at the correct time
Who’s it for?
Suitable for anyone who has a large number or complex combination of tablets to take on a daily basis, especially people who need to take medication within a specific time frame. It is beneficial to older people or individuals with mental health issues who are often prescribed medication in high volumes.
