What is it?

The ‘Pearl Advanced’ is a smart, easy to wear pendant with fall detection technology. If a fall is detected, or if the personal help button is pressed, ‘Pearl Advanced’ communicates bi-directionally with a SEVEN-D Lifeline Base Unit, which sends an alert to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), summoning help for the user. ‘Pearl Advanced’ has an elegant, discrete, casing that is water resistant and can be worn in the bath or shower. ‘Pearl Advanced’ automatically detects when a ‘hard fall’ has occurred and generates a fall alert to summon assistance.

Who is it for?

Those most likely to benefit from having the fall detector are:

  • People who have previously experienced a fall.
  • Living independently and not in residential care.
  • Mobile, by themselves or with an aid, but are not in a wheelchair.
  • People without significant cognitive impairment, so they can understand how to summon help and cancel a false alert.

‘Pearl Advanced’ has four available settings, and people can choose which one best suits their needs. People who are at high risk because of frailty, epilepsy or have diminishing cognitive abilities, benefit from the automatic ‘hard’ fall detection.

The detector provides an early warning of flood situations, such as taps being left on.

The flood detector should be placed on a flat surface close to a bath, wash basin, toilet or sink, where a flood or leak is likely to occur.

Audible alert given in the home and can be linked with a lifeline unit to be monitored 24/7.

How can it be used?

  • To alert a user that they have left a tap running so this can be turned off before damaging the property
  • To alert a loved one/ carer that a user has left a tap running so support can take place
  • Can be linked to a 24/7 monitoring centre who can make contact and arrange support (where required)

Who’s it for?

It is ideal for homeowners, residents or tenants living independently who may be at risk of an internal flood, whether from environmental factors or personal factors such as memory loss, tiredness and mobility difficulties.
