Paying for care and support
Most people will need to pay towards the cost of their care and support. To help you understand how much you may need to pay towards this, Kent County Council have created a Financial Assessment Estimator tool.
The estimator can give you an idea of how much you may need to pay towards the cost of your care. It does not replace a full financial assessment and will not save any of the information you enter.
- You can find the Financial Assessment Estimator tool on the Kent County Council Website.

Needs assessments and carers assessments
If you think you have any care and support needs, you are entitled to a needs assessment.
You can do this by completing a self assessment online, this gives you helpful information and also the opportunity to submit your assessment to Kent County Council.
You can also contact Kent County Council Adult Social Care for a needs assessment.
If you are a carer and you need some support, you are entitled to have a carer's assessment.
