Someone's Listening
Do you juggle caring responsibilities while you are working?
We’re working with unpaid carers and local charity Mending the Gap to raise awareness and offer real support for working carers across Kent.
Your Rights as a Working Carer
Thanks to the Carers Leave Act 2023, you may be entitled to:
- One week of unpaid leave per year to care for someone with long-term needs.
- Flexible leave (half or full days) from day one of employment.
- Protection from dismissal, just like other family-related leave.
