Get Involved: Help shape the future of community healthcare

NHS Kent and Medway wants to hear your views on community healthcare to help shape its plans to improve services across the area. Thousands of specialist healthcare professionals work across communities in Kent and Medway every day helping people to stay well.

These services are mainly nurse and therapist-led, helping people to regain or find their independence and get back on their feet again after illness or injury. They also include therapists and nurses working with children with disabilities or long-term illness, supporting people with long-term conditions and giving dignity to people at the end of their life and their families.

Community health services help adults and children get well and stay well, either in their own home or other out-of-hospital settings near home. They are a critical part of health and care, working closely with general practice and alongside hospitals.

NHS Kent and Medway wants to do better and make sure people are cared for in the right place, at the right time and by the right person. They want to hear from people working in and alongside these services as well as those who use them.

You can get involved by completing the survey by 22 July or coming along to an event. To do this, please visit Have Your Say in Kent and Medway.
